this happened a little too soon this year.

it is almost halloween. the girls are so excited. i can hear it in their giggles.

Charlotte's carrot harvest. She could not have been prouder. The sun is setting earlier and earlier. Makes for cozy nights. And candle light.

the leaves have started to fall so quickly. i still refuse to believe summer is gone. it was so good.

swedish meatballs for dinner tonight. windows are closed, from the chill. all except for one.

one season ends. another is poised to begin. 

flowers by candelight. after way too much wine. ghostly.
